A Beautiful Ceremony

On Friday 20th July 2012 I was asked to take photographs for an old school-friend of mine, her father had arranged a secret 'renewal of vows' ceremony and her mum knew nothing of it.....the result was a beautiful day that none present will forget in a hurry.  Here's to the rest of your lives together Lynda and Peter x

Countryfile Photographic Competition Entries 2012

Well, as the deadline for submission of printed entries is midnight tonight, I can now share with you the 4 images I have submitted....fingers crossed for me folks!!!

Book Heaven

So for months now I have been obsessed with visiting the Freecycle bookshop in Carmarthen.  The place is wonderful and I LOVE visiting!  Recently Liz and a few of the volunteers have been making a display out of items that have been found in books that have been donated...The wall display is titled 'a life left behind' and I absolutely LOVE it!  I think it should become a permanent display.  Below are some of the photographs I have taken of the current display, but I am very keen to see how it grows and changes with time....

I found a folder full of photographs I had forgotten about on my laptop so here they are...a few randoms from 2011....

Gower Ponies

Some recent photographs of the 'wild' ponies on the Gower Moors...Considering using one or two for Countryfile Photography competition so not for sale at the moment (part of the rules)

It's just a shame it was so grim and overcast....typical Welsh weather!!!

I also took a few photos of a good friend who had just hacked to work in the rain...
